WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – More help is on the way for water users going through the adjudication process.

Whatcom County Public Works has scheduled three upcoming drop-in events to answer questions and help water users fill out legal paperwork.

Representatives from Public Works and consultants from GeoSyntec will be at the Deming Library on Thursday, Jan. 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Two drop-in events will take place at the Lynden Library on Feb. 18 and 25.

Public Works will also host two evening workshops, featuring presentations and opportunities to ask questions.

The first will be held at Pioneer Pavillion in Ferndale on Feb. 3, with a second workshop scheduled for March 3 at the Rome Grange.

Both workshops will run from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., and registration is encouraged.

Public Works is reminding water users that the deadline to submit their water adjudication forms is May 1.
