POINT ROBERTS, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) is asking for help in locating a missing man from Point Roberts.

WCSO say that 73-year-old David Anderson was last seen near his home south of Province Road on the morning of Monday, Nov. 3.

Anderson is described as having curly grey hair and a beard, last seen wearing a blue jacket, black track pants and hiking boots. WCSO believe that he is likely disoriented and confused, but they emphasized that Anderson is not a danger to the public.

WCSO spokesperson Deb Slater tells My Bellingham Now that several agencies are involved in the search for Anderson, to include Fire District 5 and a helicopter.

Anyone with information on Anderson’s location is asked to call 911. The public is also urging anyone who may see him or come into contact with him to ask him directly if he needs assistance.
