GLACIER, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The popular route to the Mount Baker Ski Area has now reopened after a five-day closure.

WSDOT says that the Mount Baker Highway is back open in both directions as of Friday, Feb. 6.

A portion of the road was fully closed this week for critical culvert repair work.

Alternating traffic patterns will still be in place near milepost 41 through 43 as crews finish work on the embankment and pavement.
