Three arrested following assault and robbery in downtown Bellingham

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Three people were arrested following a robbery in downtown Bellingham and police are on the lookout for a fourth.

Bellingham Police say the incident occurred on Cornwall Avenue around 8:30 am on Sunday, Dec. 22. According to BPD, four suspects took a man to the ground and punched and kicked him repeatedly before taking his wallet.

An officer later watched a video of the assault and put out a description of the four suspects. Downtown patrol officers found three of the four suspects that same day and booked them into the Whatcom County Jail, where they remain without bail.

The three male suspects are all between the ages 26 and 30.

Bellingham Police are still searching for the fourth suspect.
