BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Bellingham-based brewing company is preparing to open its second location in the Sunnyland neighborhood.

Jason Harper, founder of Stemma Brewing Company, announced they were purchasing the property that once was home to Twin Sisters in Bellingham’s Sunnyland neighborhood in December 2024.

At the time, Harper said they planned to open as soon as they were able to by slowly expanding into the space.

That strategy is proving to be true to their approach, as the building—dubbed Stemma West—will undergo a soft opening on Thursday, March 27.

Harper says that the smaller tap room will be open along with the nearby courtyard space.

At first, Stemma West will be open from Tuesday through Sunday, with the eventual goal to be open seven days a week.

Harper adds he is excited about having people in the space and hopes to expand operations in the future.

A second Tacos Tepozteco truck will be open at Stemma West, ran by the same people at the original Moore Street Stemma location.
