SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Concrete residents have been issued a Level 3 – GO NOW! – evacuation notice as floodwaters continue to rise.

Officials in Skagit County are also urging floodplain residents to get ready to leave at a moment’s notice.

Residents who live near the Skagit or Samish Rivers will likely receive evacuation notices within the next 24 hours.

That also includes people residing in Marblemount, Rockport, Hamilton, Lyman and surrounding neighborhoods.

Anyone in the impacted flood areas should secure their belongings and property, get a go bag ready and have an evacuation route planned.

Those with livestock are encouraged to leave their animals untied on higher ground or contact the Skagit Conservation District for assistance.
