FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – No one was injured after a car drove through a business in downtown Ferndale last week.

Whatcom County Fire District 7 Fire Chief Ben Boyko says responders were dispatched to the crash near the intersection of Main Street and Hamlin Avenue around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 12.

They arrived to find the car completely inside the building.

Boyko says the car had crashed through the outer wall, passed through a room and across a hallway before coming to a rest. There were two occupants in the car and multiple people inside the building, but no one was hurt.

Both people inside the car had to be extricated by firefighters.

Ferndale Police have not responded to My Bellingham Now for comment on the cause of the crash or whether anyone was arrested.
