WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Another reminder that boasting about your crimes on social media isn’t the wisest choice.

Washington State Patrol says it arrested a motorcyclist in Whatcom County over the weekend following a lengthy investigation.

The rider had led troopers on a chase in March and investigators found that the suspect had bragged about getting away on their social media account. Investigators continued to find evidence of more crimes on their profile, including a hit and run connected to a road rage incident in January.

One of the cyclist’s posts included a photo of a motorcycle speeding away from law enforcement with the caption “Here piggy piggy.”

The 19-year-old male suspect was arrested on Saturday but was released from the Whatcom County Jail the next day after meeting bail.
