Heat advisory remains in effect for Whatcom, Skagit Counties

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A heat advisory remains in effect for our area until 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9.

Temperatures are forecast for the upper 80s in the Bellingham area but could hit the mid-90s in the north and east part of the counties.

Extreme heat will significantly increase the risk of heat-related illnesses.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors if possible.

Children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.
