BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Construction is underway at the site of a beloved former drive-in burger staple in Fairhaven.

Faber Construction is roughly two months in to building the new Peoples Bank location in the same lot that previously held Win’s Drive-In and Zane Burger.

Once complete, the new branch will replace the current Peoples Bank inside the Fairhaven Haggen.

The branch will be the eighth standalone Peoples Bank location in Whatcom County.

Faber says the new two-story building will embrace Fairhaven’s historic brick-and-stone aesthetic seen throughout the rest of the neighborhood.

Construction is expected to finish by early December.
