BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A new Go Fund Me campaign is looking to create a memorial for Harris Avenue Cafe’s Nate Breaux at a popular mountain biking spot.

The funds are going to the sponsorship of a biking trail on Galbraith Mountain in his name.

According to the Go Fund Me’s description, Breaux was known as a mountain biking enthusiast that often shared his expertise with others.

Before his untimely death in the Terminal Building Fire last December, Breaux was looking into sponsoring a Harris Avenue Cafe trail on the mountain.

The funds are going to the Whatcom Mountain Biking Coalition to directly support a memorial honoring Nate. As of Friday afternoon, the campaign has raised nearly $2,700 of their $35,000 goal.
