BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Looking to get your next dentist appointment on the cheap?

Bellingham Technical College (BTC) is looking for volunteer patients at its student-led dental clinic. It offers free services for eligible patients, including exams, x-rays, dental cleanings, simple fillings and sealants. The school said it does not provide any emergency dental services and cannot see any patients who are experiencing dental pain.

Both students and licensed professionals work at the clinic, but any dental care from students is done while being closely supervised by licensed staff.

Appointments can be made for Mondays and Fridays when the college is in session, with time slots available at 8:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Contact dental@btc.edu to make an appointment.

BTC said children can have their services completed in a single visit, while adults should expect care to take two to three appointments of three hours each. More information about the clinic can be found on BTC’s website.
