BRIEF: Dumpster fire ignites in Fairhaven, damages building on waterfront

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A fire in Fairhaven over the weekend caused exterior damage to a building on the waterfront.

The Bellingham Fire Department responded to the fire, which started in a dumpster, next to Northwest Marine Industries just after 9 p.m. on July 26. According to the company, the fire was extinguished quickly and caused paint damage to the exterior of the building.

Northwest Marine Industries also stated that the cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
