BRIEF: Border Patrol Blaine Sector arrests six people who crossed border illegally

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Federal agents made six arrests in Whatcom and Skagit Counties over the weekend of people they say crossed the border illegally.

The Border Patrol Blaine Sector says in a social media post that arrests were made in Ferndale, Everson, Maple Falls and Burlington.

The people arrested were from Mexico, India and Guatemala.

Agents from the DEA, ICE and Homeland Security Investigations joined Border Patrol officers in making the arrests.
