BLAINE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Police in Blaine are asking for help locating the owners of some stolen items.

They said in a social media post that the items were found after one of their officers was granted a search warrant for a Bellingham storage unit in late April.

The cache of stolen items included a significant amount of high-end power tools.

Blaine Police said most of the tools have been returned to their rightful owners, but there are still a few Dewalt products that have been left unclaimed.

They’re asking anyone in Blaine or Birch Bay that may have had their tools stolen before April 23 to contact them with proof of ownership.

State law requires the department to dispose of the items if they aren’t collected within 60 days.
