BIRCH BAY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Whatcom County’s waterpark is looking for its next proprietor.

John L. Scott Real Estate in Bellingham listed the nearly 14.5-acre site of Birch Bay Waterslides for a $6 million asking price on Monday, May 11.

Last week, My Bellingham Now reported on the park’s decision not to open for the 2026 summer season.

Only about 1/3 of the space is occupied by the water park itself, and listing agent Patrick Starr notes that future owners could capitalize on expanding into the additional space.

According to its listing, this marks only the second time the property has gone up for sale in 45 years.

My Bellingham Now has reached out to Starr for further comment.
