BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A hard cider company in Bellingham is getting a lot bigger.
Bellingham Cider Company announced its purchase of Lost Giants Cider Company Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Both companies opened their taprooms in 2018, and began selling their locally brewed ciders across western Washington.
In the spring, Lost Giants co-owners Brad Wilske and Abe Ebert offered the purchase of their company to Bellingham Cider Company.
“We’re really proud of what we’ve built. It’s been an incredible ride, and we’re grateful for all the people who have supported us,” Wilske said in the new ownership announcement. “At the same time, we feel like we’ve taken the company as far as we can, and the time feels right to hand it off to someone who can bring new energy and take it even further.”
Bellingham Cider Company says the recipes, branding and distributor relationships will be preserved, and current employees will remain on staff.
They plan to merge the two production locations, in an effort to grow both brands and streamline resources.
