BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Bellingham acupuncturist has had his license suspended after being accused of sexual misconduct on the job.

The Washington Department of Health says that a criminal investigation was brought against Timothy Baglio earlier this year through the Bellingham Police Department (BPD).

A former patient told investigators that Baglio made inappropriate comments during a session and touched them inappropriately.

Over the summer, a second victim also reported unwanted sexual contact by Baglio during treatment.

They added that Baglio sent them numerous apologetic text messages, including some asking the victim not to report him as he was already “in trouble.”

Baglio’s license expired as of August following his initial suspension.

BPD’s criminal investigation into Baglio is ongoing.
