BOW, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A water adjudication workshop has been scheduled for those who live outside of Whatcom County.

Public Works staff will be hosting a form assistance event next Thursday, May 21, at Edison Elementary School in Bow.

They’ll be joined by workers with the Washington Department of Ecology to help residents fill out claim forms and answer any questions.

Most Skagit County residents aren’t impacted by the water adjudication process. However, the Water Resource Inventory Area impacted by the adjudication extends slightly past Chuckanut Mountain into north Edison and Bow.

Appointments are required in advance of next Thursday’s event, which runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

All residents affected by the water adjudication lawsuit have an extended deadline of June 1, 2027 to file.
