SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – More assistance is on the way for Skagit County flood victims.

Skagit County government officials say that two disaster assistance centers will be open on Monday, Dec. 29 for anyone in need of resources.

Assistance will be available for any individual, family or business impacted by the floods at the Hamilton Town Hall and at the Burlington Parks & Recreation Office.

Both locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days.

Meanwhile, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has declared a public health emergency for 14 Washington counties impacted by floodwaters, including Whatcom and Skagit Counties.

That follows a similar emergency declaration signed by President Trump on December 12.
