BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Whatcom County’s biggest race of the year is officially sold out.

Organizers for Ski to Sea put out a call for teams to register on Thursday, Jan. 16 with spots filling in record time.

But registration reached its 500-team capacity just hours after the announcement.

A waitlist is now open through the end of March in case any existing teams decide to drop out.

The deadline to request a refund for any existing teams is April 1.

The 2026 Ski to Sea race takes place on May 24, when the team from Birch Equipment will seek its fifth win in a row.
