MOUNT BAKER SKI AREA, WA – (KGMI.com) Skiers and snowboarders rejoice!

The Mount Baker Ski Area says they now have a snow base of 71 inches at Heather Meadows and 90 inches up on Pan Dome as of Thursday morning.

The White Salmon lodge will be closed for the next few days and all operations will be out of the upper lodge.

The mid-mountain Raven Hut will be open though, for a nice spot to warm up and get some grub.

It will be cold on the mountain this weekend, but sunny skies should make for gorgeous winter conditions.

For all the details and an updated snow report later today, go to their website here.
