WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Weather forecasters are sticking with a forecast for wintry weather showing up Friday.
A wind advisory is in effect for the coasts of Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan counties from 9 tonight until 1pm tomorrow, with gusts to 50 possible and sustained northeast winds 25-35.
And a freeze watch has been called for Saturday night into Sunday morning.
And snow that began overnight on Mount Baker will continue to accumulate throughout the day and stick for a while as temps remain below freezing at least through the weekend.
