BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Home sale prices in Whatcom County are still on the rise.
According to data compiled by Troy Muljat of Muljat Group Realtors, the median home sale price rose nearly 5% in 2019 to about $480,500.
That’s a 60% increase in the last decade.
Bellingham is leading the way in sales price, but the number of homes sold decreased this year.
Meanwhile, communities in the county with less expensive housing experienced a surge in unit sales.
