BELLINGHAM, Wash. — High school students and their parents interested in additional learning options for fall are invited to explore Whatcom Community College’s Running Start program.

Running Start is a statewide partnership with high schools that allows more than 1,100 juniors and seniors to attend WCC tuition free every year while earning college credit.

Students may enroll simultaneously in high school and college classes or solely at the college, and can still participate in their high school activities and clubs, as well as those at WCC.

Students can enroll in Running Start until September 22 when WCC’s fall quarter begins.

An informational video is available and the Running Start web page has more information about the program and related resources.
