WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Wondering if your neighborhood is prone to landslides?

Now there’s a map for that.

King5 reports that the Washington Department of Natural Resources has developed a map that allows residents to see if they live in a landslide-prone area.

Recent flooding and record wet weather last year has highlighted the danger in many parts of western Washington.

Every year, there are hundreds of landslides across the state and even urban areas can be prone.

To explore the map, visit the Washington State DNR website.
