BLAINE, Wash. — Community members paraded in Blaine yesterday afternoon (thurs) to honor a local healthcare center closing its doors after 40 years in service.

The drive-by parade was for the doctors and staff at Bay Medical Clinic, which is located on C Street in Blaine.

According to the Northern Light, participants decorated their cars with balloons and signs, honked their horns, and wished the team good luck with the next chapters in their lives.

The closure comes after multiple unsuccessful attempts by the owners to secure a replacement provider.
