BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Sehome High School is closed today, Thursday, December 9th, after being on lockdown for about an hour yesterday afternoon.
The district communications office says the school was placed on lockdown at about 1 p.m. while Bellingham Police investigated a threat.
The threat was not found to be credible and the lockdown was lifted just before 2 p.m.
Students and staff were safe and classes resumed after the lockdown was lifted.
Details about the threat have not been released.
Bellingham Police are investigating to see if this and another incident involving Sehome High School last Friday, December 3rd, are connected.
