ORCAS ISLAND, Wash. – A cool $14 million.
That’s what Oprah Winfrey just got for her 43-acre waterfront home on Orcas Island.
The Puget Sound Business Journal reports that’s the highest price ever paid for a property on the island.
The spot on Catspaw Lane has a 10,000 square foot mansion, a greenhouse, a shop, and a half-mile of waterfront and beach.
Winfrey bought the property for $8.3 million back in 2018, but hasn’t used it much and decided the time was right to sell.
She’s still part-owner of a number of other properties on Orcas, including commercial spots like the Brown Bear building, Darvil building, the Porter Station building, and Eastsound Square.
The property wasn’t listed publicly and the identity of the buyer is unknown.
