LYNDEN, Wash. – A Lynden water treatment business on Bender Road was destroyed in a fire Thursday morning.
Lynden Fire Chief Mark Billmire says a detached two car garage that housed Northwest Water Treatment was fully involved in fire as crews arrived just before 9 a.m.
He says there was some concern about chlorine or other chemicals inside the building but they found only inert chemicals that posed no danger to fire fighters or the public.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
