BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Drivers who regularly travel on Lake Whatcom Boulevard south of Sudden Valley will have to find alternate routes next week.
Whatcom County Public Works will close the road from 7 a.m. Monday Sept. 18th to 4 p.m. Friday Sept. 22nd for a culvert replacement.
Lake Whatcom Boulevard will be closed to all traffic south of Lake Louise Road.
A culvert in the area is failing and causing severe erosion of the road shoulder.
