Highly contagious virus plagues Seattle cruise ship

SEATTLE, Wash. — Dozens of people are sick after a stomach virus outbreak on a cruise ship out of Seattle.

KTOO says seventy-three people on the Holland America cruise ship, Zaandam, destined for various stops in Alaska, reported being sick.

The ship is carrying more than 2,000 people and KING 5 reports it’s expected to continue on before returning to Seattle July 2nd.
