BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Western Washington University of Washington student is assaulted and police say they arrested the man who did it.
University Police say it happened at about 10:45 a.m. Wednesday near Birnam Wood residence hall.
They say a 44-year-old convicted felon took a swing at a student on a bike and then grabbed him by the neck.
Police say the man, who’s not a student, was spotted in Western’s Red Square and arrested outside Edens residence hall.
