CONCRETE, Wash. — Parts of Skagit County and much of Western Washington continue to see severe drought conditions.

That includes the Seattle area and most of the Olympic Peninsula.

The latest data from the United State Drought Monitor finds Whatcom County experiencing “moderate” drought conditions.

Warmer-than-normal weather is forecast for July through September, but KOMO reports that conflicting data makes it difficult to determine whether we’ll see a drier or wetter summer.
