BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A new mural is ready in downtown Bellingham.

The Downtown Bellingham Partnership posted on Facebook Tuesday showcasing a brand new work of art located in the alleyway behind the Horseshoe Cafe.

Local artist Gretchen Leggitt painted the mural showing portraits of two women holding paper cranes and dragonflies.

Leggitt has painted several other pieces that can be spotted throughout Bellingham, including Washington’s largest mural on Cornwall.
