BELLINGHAM, WA. – (KGMI.com) We are getting into the thick of winter weather and local schools want to help you plan ahead.

Bellingham Public Schools says that any changes to their schedule are usually announced before 6 a.m.

Families are asked to check the district’s snow bus routes for a map of alternate stops in the case of any weather event.

People can keep informed with email or text alerts that the district sends through their student information system, Skyward.

They can also check the district’s website or their social media accounts on X, Facebook or Instagram for updates.

Those with limited Internet access can call the school’s main phone line for a pre-recorded message.

Call 360-676-6400 for English or 360-647-6815 for a message translated in Spanish or other languages.

You can also tune-in right here to KGMI for the latest updates.
