BELLINGHAM, Wash. — After plenty of snow days earlier this year and now cancellations due to the coronavirus, the Bellingham School District has made a decision regarding the end of the school year.

Bellingham Schools says after receiving guidance from the state’s Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, they have decided the last day of school for all students, except seniors, is Thursday, June 18.

The last day for seniors is a week earlier on June 11.

Plans for graduation ceremonies for seniors and “moving up” ceremonies for grades 5 and 8 are still in the works.
