Bellingham named one of best college towns in America

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham ranks in the top 10 college towns in the U.S., and ranks first in all of Washington, according to a new study.

Reviews.org released a study comparing the population, student cost, education rate, transportation access, unemployment rate, cost of living and nightlife of college towns with less than 250,000 residents.

They found the best college towns in each of the 50 states, and ranked them from there.

Bellingham, thanks to Western Washington University, came in at ninth, and Iowa City, home of the University of Iowa, took the number one spot.

Reviews.org named Bellingham the sixth best college town for student employment.
