Bellingham man identified in fatal wrong-way crash in Tacoma

BELLINGHAM, WA. – (KGMI.com) A Bellingham man has been identified as the driver in a fatal wrong-way crash in Tacoma last month.

Washington State Patrol says 24-year-old Thomas Greenan was driving south in the northbound lanes of I-705 on October 29th when he collided head-on with another car.

Both drivers were transported to St. Joseph Hospital, where they died from the injuries.

The roadway was fully blocked for over six hours after the crash.

It is not known whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident.
