Bellingham man arrested on child molestation charges

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man has been arrested after being accused of repeatedly molesting a child.

Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Deb Slater said that detectives began an investigation into the suspect last Thursday, May 4th.

Deputies arrested the suspect, 54-year-old Benjamin Bliss, the next day.

Bliss is accused of molesting a child who was known to him.

He remains at the Whatcom County Jail without bail.
