Alaska ferry being repaired in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Travelers hoping to catch a ride on the Alaska ferry will have to wait at least another week.

The Alaska Department of Transporation says The Columbia needs extensive repairs here in Bellingham.

It plans to have the boat resume service on February 2.
