You’ve got a chance to earn a $25 Haggen gift card and one of 50 finalist spots in the 10K Kitchen. Tune into the Brad and John show each weekday morning from 5:30-10am for your chance to get win a spot, or you can stop by these 10K Kitchen events and register to be a finalist:

  • October 12th from 11am-1pm at DeWaard and Bode in Burlington
  • October 26th from 11:30am to 1:30pm at DeWaard and Bode in Burlington
  • November 9th from 11am to 12pm during last chance registration at the Grand Prize Giveaway party at DeWaard and Bode in Burlington

CONTEST RULES

From October 7th to November 9th, listeners can enter to win KISM and DeWaard & Bode’s 10K Kitchen. Listeners can enter to become one of 50 finalists that will have a chance to win the 10K Kitchen in a variety of ways, including:

  • During the Brad and John show, each weekday from 5:30am-10am on KISM from 10/7 to 11/8. There will be a total of 25 finalists selected in this manner. In order to qualify during the Brad and John show, listeners must call or email Brad and John when prompted during that morning’s broadcast. There will be 25 qualifiers randomly selected in this manner.
  • During KISM’s 10K Kitchen Remote Broadcast Events that will take place at DeWaard and Bode on October 12th and October 26th. Listeners can register while KISM is on-site, and 5 listeners will be randomly selected from each remote, for a total of 10 finalists in this manner. Both remote broadcasts will take place at DeWaard and Bode’s Burlington location: 1611 S Burlington Blvd, Burlington, WA 98233
  • Listeners can also register to win and become a finalist by scanning the QR code displayed at each DeWaard and Bode location from 10/7-11/14 at 12pm. There will be 5 finalists randomly selected in this manner. Listeners can enter via QR code once per day, for a total of 32 entries. QR codes will be present at the following three DeWaard and Bode locations:

  • 4175 Hannegan Road. Bellingham, WA 98226
  • The final way listeners can enter is at the Grand Prize Giveaway event on November 9th at DeWaard and Bode. There will be 10 listeners randomly selected as finalists during last chance registration. Last chance registration will take place from 11am to 12pm on November 9th at the DeWaard and Bode Burlington Showroom: 1611 S Burlington Blvd, Burlington, WA 98233

There will be a total of 50 finalists. To win the 10K kitchen, listeners must be present at the party on November 2nd. One winner will be selected at the grand prize party.

Listeners can become a finalist in a variety of ways, starting on Monday October 7th, until Saturday November 9th.

Grand Prize will be given away at the grand prize party on November 9th. Each finalist, aside from last chance finalists, will receive a $25 Haggen gift card. A total of 40 $25 Haggen gift cards will be awarded to the first 40 finalists.

Listeners must be present to win. To determine the grand prize winner, KISM will display 50 envelopes, one for each finalist. 10 of the envelopes will contain the word “Kitchen”. Those 10 finalists who selected the kitchen envelopes will move on to another drawing, where they’ll each have a 1 in 10 chance to win the 10K Kitchen. They’ll each be randomly selected to choose one of ten different envelopes, and one of those envelopes will have the word “winner” in it, and that will be the 10K kitchen winner!

Each finalist must be present at the grand prize party and checked in at the KISM booth by 12pm or they will be disqualified. If qualifiers don’t show up, KISM will eliminate their spot in the contest and move forward without them.

No purchase necessary. Prizes are not transferrable nor redeemable for cash.

The grand prize winner will win:

  • KitchenAid Fridge valued at $2,799 (KRFC300ESS)
  • KitchenAid Dishwasher valued at $1,349 (KDTM404KPS)
  • KitchenAid Over The Range Microwave valued at $799 (KMHS120ESS)
  • KitchenAid Range Oven valued at $2,599 (KSEG700ESS)
  • KitchenAid Wine Fridge valued at $2,749 (KUBR214KSB)

Total prize value $10,295. No substitutions or changes allowed to the kitchen set. Winner responsible for all delivery fees, based on the discretion of DeWaard and Bode.

Prize and product tax are applicable and are the sole responsibility of the winner. No purchase necessary. Prizes are not transferrable nor redeemable for cash.

Prize value of the gift cards are based on retail value.  The Grand Prize value is based on the retail value.

KISM contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 21 or older, that have not any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one grand prize qualifier per household is allowed. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KISM, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the KISM main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

We will make reasonable efforts to award Qualifying Prizes within 30 days after winning.

The Grand Prize will be awarded after the winner has completed all applicable tax forms.  Due to the value of the prize, a W-9 must be completed, and a copy of a Washington State issued ID must be submitted at the Cascade Radio Group offices during regular business hours.  Listener has 30 days after being notified to fill out the paperwork at the Cascade Radio Group offices.  After that date, if the paperwork has not been filled out, the winner will forfeit the prize.
