50 Keys to Spring 2022 Contest Rules

Beginning April 11th through May 14th at 12pm, listeners will have a chance to qualify to become one of 50 finalists for the 2021 ZForce 950 Sport grand prize ATV courtesy of Mt. Baker Moto Sports!

There will be four different ways to become one of 50 finalists. You must be 21 or older to enter this contest.

One way is to listen for the ‘cue to call’ for a chance to be one of the 25 finalists that will be chosen on air between April 11th and May 13th. Every weekday morning between April 11th and May 13th Brad and John will solicit calls during the Brad and John show and have one semi-finalist each weekday morning resulting in 25 total finalists.

You can also register to be a finalist at Mt Baker Moto Sports between April 11th and May 13th by 10am. To enter, listeners must find the QR code at Mt. Baker Moto Sports which will lead them to an Aptivada entry form where they are required to fill out their first and last name, phone number, date of birth, gender, and zip code. The only way to access this entry form is through the QR code. Entrants must agree to terms for Aptivada through KISM.com and go through the complete registration process. 10 total finalists will be randomly selected on May 13th and notified accordingly.

The third way to become a finalist is through a registration form on location during two remotes held on April 16th and April 30th from 11:30am – 1:30pm.  KISM will be on location at Mt. Baker Moto Sports for 2 hours promoting a registration entry form where listeners must enter their first and last name, phone number, date of birth, gender, and zip code in order to qualify as a finalist. This entry is separate from the QR code entry form that will be on location between April 11th and May 13th at 10am. 10 finalists will be selected randomly this way, 5 from each separate remote. Finalists will be notified at the end of each remote.

The fourth is to register to be a ‘last chance finalist’, during the giveaway event on May 14th.  Last chance registration will take place at Mt Baker Moto-Sports on May 14th between 11:30am-12:00pm.  KISM will randomly select 5 last chance finalists at 12:01p to be included in the grand prize giveaway.

Grand Prize winner will be determined at the Grand Prize Award Remote event on May 14th, 2022 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Mt. Baker Moto Sports. From 11:30am-12pm, last chance registration will take place. At 12:01 pm, 5 last chance finalists will randomly be drawn and entered into the contest. KISM will randomly draw names to determine the order that finalists select envelopes. There will be 50 envelopes, 10 of which will have a key in them, with one of the keys being the key that turns on the ATV. The finalist that selects the key that turns on the ATV grand prize, a 2021 ZForce 950 Sport, with a MSRP of $13,199.00, will be the winner. If all 50 finalists are not present at the Grand Prize Award Remote, then the contest will be done with only the finalists at the event.

Each of the finalists from The Brad and John Show and from the remotes will win a qualifying prize of one $30 gift card to Twin Sisters Restaurant and Brewing for a total 50 qualifying prizes given away to 50 finalists.

Entrants and winners will be chosen at the sole discretion of KISM. Listeners who wish to enter drawing must fully complete registration.

The grand prize winner will pick up their prize from the sponsor directly (Mt. Baker Moto Sports) except for the $30 Twin Sisters Restaurant gift cards. The gift cards will be mailed to finalists by Cascade Radio Group. Since the grand prize will not be in the possession of Cascade Radio Group/SAGA Communications, we will not be requiring tax information from the grand prize winner. Any applicable federal, state or local taxes will have to be the responsibility of the grand prize winner and will be worked out between the grand prize winner and the prize sponsor (Mt. Baker Moto Sports). Prize and product tax are applicable.  Cascade Radio Group/SAGA Communications is not responsible for any of the prize or product tax, nor federal, state or local taxes. Tax and license not included. The prize is not transferrable and non-redeemable for cash.

This KISM contest is open to all eligible Washington state residents 21 or older who have not won anything on KISM in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KISM, The Cascade Radio Group, Saga Broadcasting, LLC., and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of KISM’s main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

Winners will be chosen in the sole discretion of KISM. Listeners may only qualify as a finalist one time. Listeners can enter to be a finalist in all four ways. If a finalist doesn’t make it to the Grand Prize Remote, then they will be removed from the contest. If only 35 out of 50 finalists are present, then the contest will take place with only the 35 finalists that are at the event. Finalists are ineligible to send someone else to represent them at the event, each finalist must be present. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize.  Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries, and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these Official Rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted.  Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

No purchase necessary. KISM’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize. KISM will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes. Winners will be responsible for all federal and state taxes, and any fees and incidentals. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.
