Between the dates of February 8, 2021 – March 19, 2021 listeners can enter Pick Your Patio two different ways. The first is by filling out an entry form with their email/Facebook login, name, phone number, gender, zip code and birthdate during registration times. Entrants must agree to terms for Aptivada through KISM.com and go through the complete registration process. Registration times are from 6am – 6pm at KISM.com on the following dates listed below. One entrant during each of the registration periods listed below will win a Farmstrong Brewing $50 gift card. Winners for the Farmstrong gift card each week will be randomly selected from all entries for that registration period and contacted by someone from the KISM staff the following Monday via phone. Weekly winners will still be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing. One entry per registration period per entrant (6a-6p). A listener can register for a total of 6 times this way.

The second way listeners can register for the grand prize drawing is by scanning the QR code on the Pick Your Patio posters located at each of contest sponsors listed below, which will lead them to an Aptivada entry form where they are required to fill out their first and last name, phone number, date of birth, gender, and zip code. The only way to access this entry form is through the QR code located on each of the Pick Your Patio poster. Entrants must agree to terms for Aptivada through KISM.com and go through the complete registration process. The following sponsors will have a QR code: all five Judd & Black Appliance locations, Wilson’s Furniture, Lenz Enterprises’ website (www.lenz-enterprises.com), E&E Lumber, J-Dog Junk Removal (www.facebook.com/JDogBellingham), and I’ve Got A Guy Tree Service’s website (www.ivegotaguytreeservice.com). There will be total of 10 QR Code locations. Listeners can register one entry per day per QR Code location. QR code posters will be up for listeners to enter the Pick Your Patio from the start of the business day of February 8, 2021 – the end of the business day on March 19, 2021. Listeners can register for a total of 40 times per QR code location.

The grand prize winner will be announced on the Brad and John Morning Show Monday, March 22, 2021 between the hours of 5:30am – 9:45am.

One winner will be chosen from each registration time to receive a $50 gift card from Farmstrong Brewery and that winner will still go in the running for the grand prize of the Ultimate Fan Cave. There will be a total of 6 winners each receiving one $50 gift card from the designated sponsor.

The Grand Prize Package will consist of:

Grand prize winner need not be present or listening to win. No purchase necessary.

Prize value of the each of the prizes in the grand prize package and the Farmstrong Brewery gift cards are based on based on retail value provided by the sponsor.

The winner will be chosen Monday, March 22, 2021 by random draw from all the entry forms received during registration times and from the QR code poster sign ups. The winner will then be contacted Monday, March 22, 2021 by a KISM staff member via phone. Arrangements will be made for the winner to come fill out the required forms, provide the appropriate requirements and get information on how they can receive their prizes. We will make reasonable efforts to award prizes within 30 days after winning. Grand prize winner need not be present or listening to win. The winner will be issued an embossed letter on KISM letterhead to present to each sponsor to redeem their prizes.

The grand prize winner will pick up their prizes from each of the sponsor directly with the exception of the $50 and $150 Farmstrong Brewery gift cards. Since none of the prizes will be in the possession of Cascade Radio Group/SAGA Communications, we will not be requiring tax information from the grand prize winner. The prize sponsors (which is all the contest sponsors providing prizes) will be responsible for the 1099. Any applicable federal, state or local taxes will be the responsibility of the grand prize winner. Prize and product tax are applicable.

KISM contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 21 or older, that have not won anything on KISM in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KISM, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the KISM main studios are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

We will make reasonable efforts to award Prizes within 30 days after winning.

These are the rules governing all contests aired on Classic Rock 92.9 KISM radio and on the kism.com website or Classic Rock 92.9 KISM mobile app, unless otherwise specified. In the following rules, “Classic Rock 92.9 KISM” means Pacific Northwest Media Group, which owns Classic Rock 92.9 KISM radio:

1. No purchase is necessary to enter any Classic Rock 92.9 KISM contest.
2. To be eligible to win any prize on Classic Rock 92.9 KISM you must not have won anything on Classic Rock 92.9 KISM in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
3. Anytime you call the Classic Rock 92.9 KISM studios you assume that your call will be broadcast or recorded and you grant us permission to broadcast the call or record it for later broadcast.
4. As a winner of a Classic Rock 92.9 KISM contest your voice, name and/or picture may be used for promotional, broadcast, or internet purposes without any compensation to you.
5. Prizes awarded are not redeemable for cash. No prize is transferable. No substitution for a prize will be made at the request of winner. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value.
6. All winners of all contests are responsible for all taxes on prize awarded. All winners of a prize valued at $600 or more will be required to complete the appropriate tax forms at the Classic Rock 92.9 KISM studios prior to claiming prize. All winners will be sent a 1099 MISC federal tax form if in one calendar year the prize value of all prizes won exceeds $600.
7. In the event the winner is subject to or the subject of any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner (i.e. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien, and the like), Classic Rock 92.9 KISM’s delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be thus deemed as (Classic Rock 92.9 KISM) awarding the prize to the winner. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM shall be entitled to rely in good faith, upon any documents presented by the representative seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM shall not be liable for any claim by any winner for damages incidental thereto.
8. All Classic Rock 92.9 KISM contests are open to all eligible residents 18 or over (unless otherwise specified) living within 75 miles of station transmitter(s). Contestants must possess a valid form of identification bearing the picture of the contestant acceptable to Classic Rock 92.9 KISM that will be presented to Classic Rock 92.9 KISM and accepted before the prize is awarded. Employees of Classic Rock 92.9 KISM, it's advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the Classic Rock 92.9 KISM main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and their spouse. 9. Winners will be expected to claim prize at the Classic Rock 92.9 KISM studios, 2219 Yew Street Road, Bellingham, Washington 98226, between 12:00pm – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) within 30 days of being notified that they are winners, unless there is an expiration date on prize, which will be specifically stated.
10. Where the prize(s) consists of paper tickets (“will-call tickets”) the winner will be directed to go to a specified address and retrieve the will-call tickets, and, by entering the contest, the contestant agrees to pick up will-call tickets and sign and deliver to Classic Rock 92.9 KISM a waiver form as directed. Where the prize(s) consists of electronic (digital) concert or event tickets (“e-tickets”), the winner will receive an email from Classic Rock 92.9 KISM with a hyperlink to an electronic waiver form that the winner must sign and return to the Classic Rock 92.9 KISM before the prize will be transferred to the winner. The e-tickets will be transferred to the winner by Classic Rock 92.9 KISM or, in some cases, by a third party (for example, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, etc.) and the winner must check his or her email account for an email or cellular mobile number for a text message from the ticket provider in order to download the e-tickets. Where e-tickets are a prize, as a condition of entering the contest, redeeming and using e-tickets requires the winner (i) to have a valid email address and an app-enabled mobile device capable of downloading and running a third-party mobile ticketing app (e.g., Ticketmaster, Live Nation, etc.); (ii) to install, or have already installed, such mobile ticketing app on their app-enabled mobile device; and (iii) to log into an existing user account or sign up for a free user account with the third-party operating such mobile ticketing app by completing a form with all required information, including, at a minimum, the winner's first name, last name, valid email address and telephone number. E-tickets awarded as a prize in such contests cannot be redeemed or used by any means other than the designated third-party mobile ticketing app for the e-tickets. Individuals who do not have a valid email address, access to an app-enabled mobile device and/or do not comply with these requirements will not be able to redeem or use e-tickets should they be selected and verified as a winner, will not receive a substitute prize, and should not enter contests where e-tickets are the prize.
11. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if any contest rules are violated in any way.
12. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM assumes no liability for situations, repairs, or incidents arising from any aspect of any prize awarded in any contest. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM, its advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees, and immediate families of each are absolved and shall be held harmless from any action or liability arising from any contest or prize awarded in any contest.
13. As a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue any contest or promotion (and not award the offered prize) at the discretion of Classic Rock 92.9 KISM management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant.
14. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right to amend the rules to any contest at any time. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM's decision is always final. In the event any one of the general contest rules which govern all Classic Rock 92.9 KISM contests contradict with any specific contest term, the specific contest term will control.
15. For any contest requiring phone entry you must use only the following number unless otherwise specified: 360-733-5476. For texting it is 360-733-5476. The person processing inbound calls and/or texts at Classic Rock 92.9 KISM has the final decision as to who is the winning entrant.
16. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM shall have no responsibility for contestant’s inability or failure to participate, failure to win or claim any prize based on malfunction or difficulties with telephone, cell phone, texting, email, mobile applications, internet access, or any other circumstances in any contest beyond Classic Rock 92.9 KISM’s control.
17. For any contest involving on-line voting: If an entrant receives irregular votes, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, or other automated means, Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion and/or use another means to determine the winner(s), ex. – random selection or appointing a panel of judges.
18. For any contests involving tickets to live performances or events, winners will need to follow all health and public safety guidelines and protocols put in place by the concert organizer.
19. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM is not responsible for any event cancellations or reschedules.
20. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM is not responsible for:
    • internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion
    • viruses
    • sabotage
    • satellite failures
    • phone line failures
    • electrical outages
    • natural or man-made disasters
    • lost, late, misdirected, postage-due, unintelligible, returned, or undelivered entries or email
    • lost, interrupted, or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other internet connections, providers, or platforms
    • failed telephone, satellite or cable hardware or software or lines, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions
    • computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, or difficulties
    • other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or network

    Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this contest or website, or act in violation of the official service, as solely determined by the station, will be disqualified. Neither sponsor nor promotion parties are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the programming or equipment associated with or used in this contest, and assume no responsibility for any errors, omissions, deletions, interruptions or delays in operation or transmission or communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized website access.

    Classic Rock 92.9 KISM is not responsible for injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer or property related to or resulting from participating in this contest. Should any portion of contest be, in Classic Rock 92.9 KISM’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention (i.e., hackers) or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the station, corrupt or impair administration, security, fairness or proper play of this contest, or contest plays, Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest.

21. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM has not made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on prize (if any) are provided only by the manufacturer, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee.
22. The following are specifically related to E-contests and E-Mail Club promotions on kism.com:
    1. All appropriate information in required fields must be entered correctly and completely or you will be disqualified.
    2. To win a prize you must reside within the listening area of Classic Rock 92.9 KISM as defined at the exclusive discretion of Classic Rock 92.9 KISM management.
    3. Any problems with the internet or email are not Classic Rock 92.9 KISM’s responsibility.
    4. Contestants who register to participate on our website may be required to produce a printed copy of proof of registration before being allowed to participate in the contest.
    5. Due to the nature of our programs that are heard on-line over the internet, contests may not be heard at all on Classic Rock 92.9 KISM. Contests heard on the radio station’s internet audio stream may be slightly delayed from the time the contests are heard on the broadcast station, and will be running behind the broadcast signal. Thus, all contests heard on the internet are delayed. This delay can last for as much as 30 seconds or more. This means that when Classic Rock 92.9 KISM contests are played that require a specific caller to telephone the radio station (such as “Caller number 9 when you hear the sound effect”), listeners to the on-line audio stream may be at a disadvantage in participating over those listeners who hear the contests on-air.
