Classic Rock 92.9 KISM has the chanced for you to win big with the 92 Days of Summer. Listeners can enter by completing an entry form with their first and last names, city of residence, phone number, and birthdate at ANY KISM “92 Days of Summer” registration event between July 3, 2020 through September 23, 2020.  Dates and times of registration events will be promoted on KISM and posted at www.KISM.com.  One entry per person per event.  Must be present to enter. Any entry made on behalf of someone else is disqualified. Entry form must be filled out in its entirety to become a qualifier. One grand prize qualifier per household. Here’s how listeners can qualify for the “92 Days of Summer” Grand Prize Event: –          Once a listener is registered, they will listen to 92.9 KISM each non-holiday weekday between July 3, 2020 through September 23, 2020.  If your name is randomly drawn and announced, you will have 10 minutes to call the KISM studio at (360) 733-KISM to qualify.  A minimum of one name will be announced each weekday, with a maximum of 5 names.  Actual number of names called each day depends on the number of players who call within the time limit.  There will be a maximum of 71 qualifiers in this manner. –          Listeners can register during any or all of the 92 Days of Summer Registration Events. At the conclusion of each “92 Days of Summer” Registration Event held at a contest sponsor (either virtual or on-site), one qualifier will be drawn from all entries accepted during that event.  This qualifier is automatically entered into the Grand Prize event without a need to call us back.  These sponsors will each have one event: Twin Sisters Brewery in Bellingham, North Coast Credit Union in Bellingham, LFS Marine in Bellingham and Crawford Garage Doors in Mount Vernon.  These sponsors will each have two of these events: Dewey Griffin Subaru in Bellingham, Lifestyles Honda in Mt. Vernon, Mt. Baker Moto-Sports in Bellingham, and Scholten’s Equipment in Bellingham and Burlington, Skagit Valley Polaris in Mount Vernon, Frontier Ford in Anacortes, Judd & Black Appliance in Bellingham and Mount Vernon, and West Mechanical in Bellingham. There will be a total of 20 qualifiers in this manner. If the sponsor location prefers a virtual remote or event, then listeners can register online at KISM.com using an Aptivada entry form to fill out their first and last name, phone number, date of birth, gender, and zip code during the specified hours and date of the event/remote. If the sponsor location prefers an on-site event, listeners must come to the sponsor location to get registered and fill out an entry form their first and last name, phone number, date of birth, gender, and zip code during the specified hours and date of the event/remote. –          Listeners can also register to be a finalist at contest sponsors which will lead them to an Aptivada entry form where they are required to fill out their first and last name, phone number, date of birth, gender, and zip code. The only way to access this entry form is through the QR code. Entrants must agree to terms for Aptivada through KISM.com and go through the complete registration process. The following sponsors will have a QR code North Coast Credit Union’s five locations and at northcoastcu.com, Dewey Griffin Subaru in Bellingham, Lifestyles Honda in Mt. Vernon, Mt. Baker Moto-Sports in Bellingham, and Scholten’s Equipment in Bellingham and Burlington, Skagit Valley Polaris in Mount Vernon, Frontier Ford in Anacortes, Judd & Black Appliance’s five locations, and West Mechanical in Bellingham.  There will be 9 finalists drawn this way, one finalists from each sponsor. Listeners will be able to register using this method between the opening of the business on July 3, 2020 and through the close of the business on September 21, 2020. If Whatcom County is in Phase 4 by Sept. 15, 2020, listeners can enter a special “Last Chance” drawing on September 23, 2020 between 3:00pm-7:00pm at the Silver Reef Hotel Casino Spa.  Immediately before the Grand Prize event, we will draw entries to instantly qualify for the Grand Prize.  Only entries entered during this event will be eligible for the drawings.  In addition, any qualifiers that do not register at the Grand Prize event during the specified time will lose their spot and those qualifying spots will be drawn for through this process.  Must be present to qualify.  There will be a minimum of 10 qualifiers in this fashion. All qualifiers that entered to participate in the KISM 92 Days of Summer Grand Prize event prior to September 23, 2020 MUST register at the Silver Reef Hotel, Casino, Spa between 5:30pm-6:45pm on September 23, 2020.  Any person in the registration line at 6:45pm will be allowed to continue the registration process.  After 6:45pm, any person that tries to enter the registration line will be disqualified, but may enter the “Last Chance Qualifier” drawings.  When registering, each finalist will be required to show Washington State issued identification to verify their identity.  Finalists will also be required to complete an insurance waiver/release form.  At approximately 7:15pm, the Grand Prize Event will begin.  During the event, we will randomly draw names of finalists.  Once a finalist’s name is drawn, they will personally select 1 garage door opener from up to 100 garage door openers, each with an individual, pre-assigned number.  They will then activate the garage door opener.  If it opens the garage door on-stage, they are the winner.  If not, the contest will continue with the next finalist.  Once a garage door opener is selected and played, it will be removed from the contest, with no replacement.  If the correct garage door opener is inadvertently activated early, the finalist that is currently playing will be named the winner.  If, for some reason, the winning garage door opener does not start the door, a KISM staff member will intervene and present a sealed envelope with the winning garage door opener number inside to determine the winner. If Whatcom County has not advanced to Phase 4 by September 15, 2020, then the 92 Days of Summer Grand Prize Party will be turned into the 92 Days of Summer Winner’s Banquet which will be held at the Silver Reef Casino Resort in Ferndale on September 26, 2020. We will draw 100 finalists by September 23, 2020. The finalists will be turned into semi-finalists because then on Sept. 24th & 25th, Brad and John will draw and announce 20 finalists from the 100 semi-finalists. Those 20 finalists (plus guest) will be invited to a Winner’s Banquet at the Silver Reef on Saturday, September 26th.  The 20 finalists will use a garage door opener to try and open the garage door and the execution of giving away the prize will be the same, just with only twenty garage openers. KISM contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 21 or older, that have not any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one grand prize qualifier per household is allowed. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Employees of KISM, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the KISM main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian. We will make reasonable efforts to award Qualifying Prizes within 30 days after winning. The Grand Prize will be awarded after the winner has completed all applicable tax forms.  Due to the value of the prize, a W-9 must be completed and a copy of a Washington State issued ID must be submitted at the Cascade Radio Group offices during regular business hours.  Listener has until October 29, 2020 to fill out the paperwork at the Cascade Radio Group offices.  After that date, if the paperwork has not been filled out, the winner will forfeit the prize.  The winner will be issued an embossed letter on KISM letterhead to present at the sponsor of their choice.  Cascade Radio Group will then cut a check directly to the sponsor.

These are the rules governing all contests aired on Classic Rock 92.9 KISM radio and on the kism.com website or Classic Rock 92.9 KISM mobile app, unless otherwise specified. In the following rules, “Classic Rock 92.9 KISM” means Pacific Northwest Media Group, which owns Classic Rock 92.9 KISM radio:

1. No purchase is necessary to enter any Classic Rock 92.9 KISM contest.
2. To be eligible to win any prize on Classic Rock 92.9 KISM you must not have won anything on Classic Rock 92.9 KISM in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
3. Anytime you call the Classic Rock 92.9 KISM studios you assume that your call will be broadcast or recorded and you grant us permission to broadcast the call or record it for later broadcast.
4. As a winner of a Classic Rock 92.9 KISM contest your voice, name and/or picture may be used for promotional, broadcast, or internet purposes without any compensation to you.
5. Prizes awarded are not redeemable for cash. No prize is transferable. No substitution for a prize will be made at the request of winner. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value.
6. All winners of all contests are responsible for all taxes on prize awarded. All winners of a prize valued at $600 or more will be required to complete the appropriate tax forms at the Classic Rock 92.9 KISM studios prior to claiming prize. All winners will be sent a 1099 MISC federal tax form if in one calendar year the prize value of all prizes won exceeds $600.
7. In the event the winner is subject to or the subject of any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner (i.e. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien, and the like), Classic Rock 92.9 KISM’s delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be thus deemed as (Classic Rock 92.9 KISM) awarding the prize to the winner. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM shall be entitled to rely in good faith, upon any documents presented by the representative seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM shall not be liable for any claim by any winner for damages incidental thereto.
8. All Classic Rock 92.9 KISM contests are open to all eligible residents 18 or over (unless otherwise specified) living within 75 miles of station transmitter(s). Contestants must possess a valid form of identification bearing the picture of the contestant acceptable to Classic Rock 92.9 KISM that will be presented to Classic Rock 92.9 KISM and accepted before the prize is awarded. Employees of Classic Rock 92.9 KISM, it's advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the Classic Rock 92.9 KISM main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and their spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
9. Winners will be expected to claim prize at the Classic Rock 92.9 KISM studios, 2219 Yew Street Road, Bellingham, Washington 98226, between 12:00pm – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) within 30 days of being notified that they are winners, unless there is an expiration date on prize, which will be specifically stated.
10. Where the prize(s) consists of paper tickets (“will-call tickets”) the winner will be directed to go to a specified address and retrieve the will-call tickets, and, by entering the contest, the contestant agrees to pick up will-call tickets and sign and deliver to Classic Rock 92.9 KISM a waiver form as directed. Where the prize(s) consists of electronic (digital) concert or event tickets (“e-tickets”), the winner will receive an email from Classic Rock 92.9 KISM with a hyperlink to an electronic waiver form that the winner must sign and return to the Classic Rock 92.9 KISM before the prize will be transferred to the winner. The e-tickets will be transferred to the winner by Classic Rock 92.9 KISM or, in some cases, by a third party (for example, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, etc.) and the winner must check his or her email account for an email or cellular mobile number for a text message from the ticket provider in order to download the e-tickets. Where e-tickets are a prize, as a condition of entering the contest, redeeming and using e-tickets requires the winner (i) to have a valid email address and an app-enabled mobile device capable of downloading and running a third-party mobile ticketing app (e.g., Ticketmaster, Live Nation, etc.); (ii) to install, or have already installed, such mobile ticketing app on their app-enabled mobile device; and (iii) to log into an existing user account or sign up for a free user account with the third-party operating such mobile ticketing app by completing a form with all required information, including, at a minimum, the winner's first name, last name, valid email address and telephone number. E-tickets awarded as a prize in such contests cannot be redeemed or used by any means other than the designated third-party mobile ticketing app for the e-tickets. Individuals who do not have a valid email address, access to an app-enabled mobile device and/or do not comply with these requirements will not be able to redeem or use e-tickets should they be selected and verified as a winner, will not receive a substitute prize, and should not enter contests where e-tickets are the prize.
11. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if any contest rules are violated in any way.
12. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM assumes no liability for situations, repairs, or incidents arising from any aspect of any prize awarded in any contest. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM, its advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees, and immediate families of each are absolved and shall be held harmless from any action or liability arising from any contest or prize awarded in any contest.
13. As a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue any contest or promotion (and not award the offered prize) at the discretion of Classic Rock 92.9 KISM management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant.
14. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right to amend the rules to any contest at any time. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM's decision is always final. In the event any one of the general contest rules which govern all Classic Rock 92.9 KISM contests contradict with any specific contest term, the specific contest term will control.
15. For any contest requiring phone entry you must use only the following number unless otherwise specified: 360-733-5476. For texting it is 360-733-5476. The person processing inbound calls and/or texts at Classic Rock 92.9 KISM has the final decision as to who is the winning entrant.
16. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM shall have no responsibility for contestant’s inability or failure to participate, failure to win or claim any prize based on malfunction or difficulties with telephone, cell phone, texting, email, mobile applications, internet access, or any other circumstances in any contest beyond Classic Rock 92.9 KISM’s control.
17. For any contest involving on-line voting: If an entrant receives irregular votes, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, or other automated means, Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion and/or use another means to determine the winner(s), ex. – random selection or appointing a panel of judges.
18. For any contests involving tickets to live performances or events, winners will need to follow all health and public safety guidelines and protocols put in place by the concert organizer.
19. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM is not responsible for any event cancellations or reschedules.
20. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM is not responsible for:
    • internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion
    • viruses
    • sabotage
    • satellite failures
    • phone line failures
    • electrical outages
    • natural or man-made disasters
    • lost, late, misdirected, postage-due, unintelligible, returned, or undelivered entries or email
    • lost, interrupted, or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other internet connections, providers, or platforms
    • failed telephone, satellite or cable hardware or software or lines, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions
    • computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, or difficulties
    • other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or network

    Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this contest or website, or act in violation of the official service, as solely determined by the station, will be disqualified. Neither sponsor nor promotion parties are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the programming or equipment associated with or used in this contest, and assume no responsibility for any errors, omissions, deletions, interruptions or delays in operation or transmission or communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized website access.

    Classic Rock 92.9 KISM is not responsible for injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer or property related to or resulting from participating in this contest. Should any portion of contest be, in Classic Rock 92.9 KISM’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention (i.e., hackers) or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the station, corrupt or impair administration, security, fairness or proper play of this contest, or contest plays, Classic Rock 92.9 KISM reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest.

21. Classic Rock 92.9 KISM has not made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on prize (if any) are provided only by the manufacturer, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee.
22. The following are specifically related to E-contests and E-Mail Club promotions on kism.com:
    1. All appropriate information in required fields must be entered correctly and completely or you will be disqualified.
    2. To win a prize you must reside within the listening area of Classic Rock 92.9 KISM as defined at the exclusive discretion of Classic Rock 92.9 KISM management.
    3. Any problems with the internet or email are not Classic Rock 92.9 KISM’s responsibility.
    4. Contestants who register to participate on our website may be required to produce a printed copy of proof of registration before being allowed to participate in the contest.
    5. Due to the nature of our programs that are heard on-line over the internet, contests may not be heard at all on Classic Rock 92.9 KISM. Contests heard on the radio station’s internet audio stream may be slightly delayed from the time the contests are heard on the broadcast station, and will be running behind the broadcast signal. Thus, all contests heard on the internet are delayed. This delay can last for as much as 30 seconds or more. This means that when Classic Rock 92.9 KISM contests are played that require a specific caller to telephone the radio station (such as “Caller number 9 when you hear the sound effect”), listeners to the on-line audio stream may be at a disadvantage in participating over those listeners who hear the contests on-air.
