Ultimate Fan Cave 2019 Contest Rules


It’s back…the return of the Ultimate Fan Cave from Classic Rock 92.9 KISM! Join KISM at any Football Watch Party, Blue Friday Broadcast or Fan Cave Entry Broadcast between September 6, 2019 through January 6, 2020 and complete an entry form with your first and last name, city of residence, phone number, and date of birth.  Exact dates, times, and locations of each event will be broadcast a minimum of 3 days in advance and listed at www.KISM.com . Grand prize winner need not be present or listening to win.  That winner will win a $5,000 credit to spend as they choose at any or all of the contest sponsors PLUS a 65-inch Samsung Class Q60R QLED Smart 4K UHD TV (Model no: QN65Q60RAFXZA) from Judd & Black, with a retail value of $1798, and a custom-made kegerator from Kulshan Brewing with a retail value of $250. They will also receive a year worth of free car washes from Blue Cow Car Wash located in Anacortes and Mount Vernon with a retail value of $299, and a gift certificate from Little Caesars for 10 free pizzas with a retail value of $100. This makes a total prize retail value of $7,447. No purchase necessary.

We will make reasonable efforts to award prizes within 30 days after winning. Grand prize winner need not be present or listening to win.

One entry per person per entry event. Grand Prize Winner will drawn at random the morning of January 6, 2020 from all the entry forms received at participating locations with entry boxes. The winner will be announced on-air during the Brad and John Show on January 6, 2020. The winner will also be notified by telephone. Entrants and winners will be chosen at the sole discretion of KISM.

The grand prize winner will be issued an embossed letter on KISM letterhead to present at the sponsors of their choice as they spend their winnings. Subject to this provision, winnings must be used at one or more of the official sponsors. Cascade Radio Group will then cut a check directly to the sponsor.  The winner has until March 31, 2020 to use their winnings.  At that time, any remaining balance will be forfeited.  Once the winner has a remaining balance of $50 or less, KISM will cut them a check for the difference. The prize may only be used with the contest sponsors.

This contest is open to all eligible U.S. Citizens, residing in Washington state, age 21 or older have not won anything on KISM in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. No purchase necessary, Winner is responsible for any state and federal taxes. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.

Employees of KISM, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the KISM main studios are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

KISM sole responsibility will be to award the local prize. KISM will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes.
