School to Work Transition Fair to be held in Ferndale

FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – An event is coming up for young adults with disabilities to explore how they can join the workforce.

Whatcom County is hosting a School to Work Transition Fair on Thursday, March 27 at the Ferndale Events Center.

Dozens of local organizations will provide information on additional relevant topics including continuing education and community inclusion.

The fair, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon, is also open to middle and high school students with disabilities and their families.

The event is free to attend, and advanced registration isn’t required.
