One person dead, three more hospitalized after three-vehicle collision in Ferndale

FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – One person has died and three more are in the hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Ferndale this afternoon.

Limited information is available about the details of the crash according to Ferndale Police.

Officers were called to a report of the collision at the 5900 block of Church Road a little after 2 p.m. on March 18, where a southbound vehicle collided with two northbound vehicles.

One died at the site of the crash, while the three remaining people involved were transported to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Bellingham.

Church Road was closed for an extended period as Whatcom County Sheriff, Washington State Patrol and Whatcom Fire District 7 investigated the crash.
