Seahawks News

Seahawks fans will be in attendance for their first home playoff game in nearly a decade tomorrow.

Seattle’s hosting the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round. It’ll be the third match between the division rivals this season, and the Hawks’ second straight game against the Niners, after beating them 13-3 two weeks ago.

It will also be the Seahawks’ first home playoff game since 2021 and their first in front of fans since 2017.

Scientists have already installed six seismic sensors at Lumen Field to measure the ground-shaking energy generated by 12’s fans during the game.

Sam Darnold has signaled that he’ll be ready to go after suffering an oblique injury at practice yesterday. If the Hawks win, they’ll move on to their first NFC Championship game since 2015 and meet either the LA Rams or Chicago Bears.
