Meanwhile, the Rebels’ coaching staff has been in flux, with some assistants split between finishing their time out at Ole Miss and joining former Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin at LSU. But it didn’t stop them from beating 3rd-seeded Georgia in a thriller last week.

The winner of tonight’s game will face either Oregon or Indiana in the national championship.

UW Huskies News

There’s been a new development in the case of the Huskies quarterback controversy that has rocked the college football world.

Demond Williams Jr. has been dropped by his agent in the wake of his announcement that he’s entering the transfer portal. His agent attributed the split to “philosophical differences.”

Williams announced on Tuesday that he’s entering the portal, days after signing a $4 million contract to return to the Huskies for the 2025-26 season. Washington has said it’s prepared to pursue all legal avenues to enforce his contract.

Meanwhile, the Huskies men’s basketball team fell just short of a colossal upset last night.

Washington fell to 5th nationally ranked Purdue 81-73. The Boilermakers led by 20 midway through the second half, but the Huskies rallied to make them sweat it out.

UW now falls to 9-6 on the season and 1-3 in Big Ten play.
